crelve ("we", "us", or "our") operates the mobile application "Dream Log" (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our App.

• Account information (email address, username) when signing in
• Dream journal entries (text content, emotion tags, vividness scores, custom tags) you create within the App

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Device information (device type, OS version, unique identifiers)
• Usage data (app usage frequency, feature usage, dream recording activity)
• Crash logs and error reports

1.3 Data Storage

Dream journal data is stored in cloud storage (Firebase Firestore) associated with your account. Your dream entries, tags, emotion records, and streak data are synced to our servers to enable cross-device access and data persistence.

1.4 AI Analysis Data

When you use the AI dream analysis feature, your dream content is sent to Google's Gemini AI service (via Firebase Cloud Functions) for processing. AI-generated responses are not stored on our servers beyond the session. Google may process this data in accordance with their privacy policy.

3.1 AI Features and Data Sent to a Third-Party AI Service

What is sent. When you use an AI feature, the text you type into that feature and any image you explicitly choose to attach are sent from your device to the Gemini AI service operated by Google LLC, through Firebase AI Logic. Your name, email address, contacts, location and device identifiers are not included in these requests.

How it is collected and used. The data is collected only at the moment you submit a request in an AI feature, and it is used solely to generate and return the response you asked for. We do not use it for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.

Your permission. The App asks for your explicit permission before any data is sent to this service. AI features stay disabled unless you agree, and the rest of the App works normally if you decline. You can change your choice at any time from the App's settings screen.

Third-party protection. Google processes this data as our service provider under the Firebase and Google Cloud terms, which require it to protect the data to a standard equivalent to the one described in this Privacy Policy.

4. Information Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following cases:

1. With your consent
2. When required by law
3. When necessary to protect life, body, or property
4. With service providers listed in "Third-Party Services" above

5. Data Retention

Your dream journal data is stored in Firebase Firestore and retained as long as your account is active. Analytics and crash data collected by third-party services are retained according to their respective policies. After account deletion, personally identifiable information will be deleted within a reasonable period.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect collected information, including Firebase App Check for API protection. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

• Access: Request access to your personal information we hold

8. Children's Privacy

10. App Tracking Transparency

On devices running iOS 14.5 or later, we will ask for permission before tracking your activity. You can still use the basic features of the App even if you do not allow tracking.
